Brenda F. Diprospero
June 21, 1961 — September 5, 2018
Brenda F. DiProspero, 57, of Parkesburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Joseph F. DiProspero of Kennett Square.
Born in Jennersville, she was the daughter of the late Frank T. and Patricia Lurty Ruggieri Jr.
Brenda grew up in Avondale and graduated from the Kennett Consolidated High School. She was a resident of Parkesburg for the last 20 years and was employed by various employers, including Althouse Bus Company, Wawa, and Brandywine Auto Parts. She was a member of the Presidents Club of Avon, which was an accomplishment she was very proud of.
Brenda was also very proud of her 30 year sobriety. Her children and friends were her absolute world. She loved game nights with her family, camping, animals, nature and the outdoors, old school music, dancing, the beach, going out with her sister and The Wizard of Oz. Her laugh and her spunky attitude will be remembered by everyone who knew her.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Maria DiProspero of Newark, DE, Alissa DiProspero and Vincent DiProspero both of Toughkenamon, siblings, Patti Roark of Wilmington, DE, Vicki Huber of Gap, PA, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceeded in death by siblings, Vincent and David Ruggieri.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend memorial service on Friday, September 14, 2018, at 8:00pm from the Wilde Funeral Home, Parkesburg, with visitation from 6:00pm until time of service.
